Dan Meth's Blog

Dan Meth started drawing within minutes of being born (finger-painting on the doctor's smock with placenta juice.). Although he quickly moved on to other mediums, the initial enthusiasm towards drawing never faded. Rather than taking notes during high school classes, Meth filled his notebooks with cartoons. Though his grades were lackluster, it has proven to be time well spent. (still haven't needed to use that quadratic equation, Mrs. Trefflinger,.. too busy drawing cartoons for a living). Meth majored in Illustartion at Syracuse University where he drew a daily comic strip for the school newspaper, (it allegedly made people laugh). Graduating in 1999, Meth spent the first term and a half of the Bush administration scrambling for freelance employment. His funniest cartoons were big internet hits, including the one that eventually led to his first meeting with Fred Seibert. Hired in March of 2006, he's currently working on a number of Frederator projects including a Random! Cartoon short, organizing the FredEx animation jam, and developing a new show that he wrote and directed. In addition to all that, there's client work and a kitchen sink full of dirty dishes.
